NRM Kampala chairman arrested by the army for allegedly engaging in terror activities

A joint operation between the Internal Security Organization and the Chieftaincy of Military arrested several leaders of the once untouchable Boda Boda 2010- including their Patron Abdul Kitata. Boda Boda 2010 has described by many as a militia group loyal to the Inspector General of Police, Gen Kale Kayihura. Retired Archbishop Livingstone Mpalanyi-Nkoyoyo will be burried at Namugogo Martyr’s Shrine

The Most Rev. Livingstone Mpalanyi-Nkoyoyo, retired Archbishop of the Church of Uganda, died on 5th January 2018 at the age of 80 from pneumonia. In early 2017 he underwent successful treatment for cancer in the UK. Archbishop Stanley Ntagali said, “I thank God for the life of Archbishop Nkoyoyo.
