Retired Archbishop Livingstone Mpalanyi-Nkoyoyo will be burried at Namugogo Martyr’s Shrine

The Most Rev. Livingstone Mpalanyi-Nkoyoyo, retired Archbishop of the Church of Uganda, died on 5th January 2018 at the age of 80 from pneumonia. In early 2017 he underwent successful treatment for cancer in the UK. Archbishop Stanley Ntagali said, “I thank God for the life of Archbishop Nkoyoyo. Dunamis funs in a humanitarian drive to support the people of Kimi island which was razed in fire

Residents of Kimi on Koome Island are homeless in a fire which razed the island. The cause of the fire is not yet established but some people suspect fish smoking which is said to have been carried out indoors.
